Treasury Metals is focused on its 100 per cent company-owned flagship asset, the Goliath Gold Project located near Dryden, Ontario. The Company is currently completing an Environmental Assessment and has an immediate need for a Senior Environmental Officer.

GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION
Based full-time in Dryden, and reporting to the Goliath Project Manager, the successful applicant will be responsible for management, monitoring and report writing of Treasury Metals Inc.’s upcoming Environmental Impact Statement.

SELECTION CRITERIA

  • Tertiary degree or diploma in Environmental Science or related technical field
  • Minimum five years of experience in environmental programs, including an understanding of the Environmental Impact Statement process
  • Good working knowledge of environmental legislation and best practices from municipal/provincial/federal implications and interests
    Strong communication and report writing skills
  • Ability to work in a team environment

Compensation for this senior company position includes a competitive salary with full benefits along with participation in the company stock option plan.

Graduate Mining Engineer
The ideal candidate will possess the minimum requirements:

  • 4-year Mining Engineering degree from a Canadian university
  • Good communication and report writing skills are essential
  • Solid working knowledge of computers
  • Knowledge of AutoCAD and mining software programs would be an advantage
  • Ability to work weekends and holidays
  • Ability to relocate to Dryden, Ontario
